Lenovo’s official website now features the ThinkBook 14 / 16 G9 IPL thin and light laptops on its PSREF product specification page. These are the 2026 models featuring the Intel Core Ultra processor (3rd generation) “Panther Lake” version.
These two models offer options for Core Ultra 7 355, Ultra 5 325, and Ultra 5 332 processors, with specifications up to 4P + 4LP-E; they feature two built-in DDR5-5600 SODIMM memory slots, and two M.2 drive bays with 2242 PCIe 4.0 x4 and 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 interfaces, respectively.
Both the ThinkBook 14 and 16 G9 IPL offer three screen options: the 14-inch model can be equipped with a 2880×1800 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits resolution, and 100% sRGB IPS display, while the 16-inch model can be equipped with a 2560×1600 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 400 nits resolution, and 100% sRGB IPS display.

In terms of interfaces, both models are equipped with two full-function Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A 5Gbps ports, one HDMI 2.1 TMDS port, one 3.5mm audio jack, one 1GbE RJ45 wired network port, and one SD card reader.
The ThinkBook 14 G9 IPL offers a choice of 48Wh or 64Wh batteries, is 17.5mm thick, and weighs 1.36kg. The ThinkBook 16 G9 IPL offers a choice of 48Wh or 71Wh batteries, is 17.5mm thick, and weighs 1.7kg.
