NAS operating system developer fnOS officially announced today that its Arm instruction set-based system version now supports 3rd to 5th generation Raspberry Pi (IT Home note: including Raspberry Pi 3B / 3B+ / 3A+ / 4B / 5).
This signifies that fnOS has officially achieved interoperability with the world’s most renowned single-board computer (SBC) ecosystem . The official fnOS website states that its Arm system supports the aforementioned Raspberry Pi equipped with 1-16GB of DRAM, and recommends using devices with 2GB or more of RAM to ensure smooth operation.
Other updates to fnOS this Friday include the addition of iSCSI protocol support to the Arm version of fnOS and the addition of third-party applications such as Hermes Agent to the application center.
