Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic recently received a version update (L5050ZCU3AZB5 / L5050CHC3AZB5 / L5050ZCU3AZB5), which includes improvements to device performance and enhanced security.
After updating to this version, the Galaxy Watch8 Classic received a standalone WeChat watch app, which users can install and use from app stores. The version number is 1.0.6, and it supports functions such as receiving messages, convenient replies, and WeChat payments.
When a user logs in to WeChat on their watch, the mobile app will prompt them with a login request for their iPad/computer/watch device. After logging in, the mobile app will also display “Watch WeChat logged in” at the top (clicking this will take you to the page to manage WeChat login devices).
The WeChat Watch app is a smartwatch version of WeChat launched by the WeChat team in July 2022. It supports features such as automatic voice-to-text conversion, viewing image messages, tap/quote message display, voice reply, quick text reply, and WeChat emoji reply.
