Huawei quietly updated its support documentation for 5A-related issues on its official website, releasing a detailed list of models that support 5A technology, covering its mobile phone and tablet product lines, including a series of models such as the Enjoy 70X.
Huawei clarifies that 5A represents only Huawei’s advanced communication technology for terminals, not a network standard. It is neither equivalent to 5G-A (5GA) nor 5.5G.
There is no separate switch for 5A technology; users do not need to pay extra or manually configure it. Supported models will display the 5A icon by default in the system status bar.
