The Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid was officially launched in Australia today. The new model is the most powerful and most expensive Land Cruiser to date.
The vehicle is offered in two versions in the Australian market. The GR Sport focuses on off-road capability and basically uses the body kit of the standard V6 model; the Sahara ZX is more luxurious, featuring a unique front bumper and redesigned air intakes to indicate its hybrid identity. Both are equipped with the same i-Force Max 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 hybrid system as the Toyota Tundra and Lexus LX 700h.
This “performance hybrid” system delivers a combined output of 341 kW (approximately 464 metric horsepower) and a peak torque of 790 Nm . Compared to the standard 3.3-liter V6 turbo diesel version, the Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid boasts an additional 114 kW (approximately 155 metric horsepower) and 90 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful Land Cruiser ever.

This self-charging hybrid system consists of a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine and an electric motor, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and delivers power to all four wheels via Toyota’s all-wheel-drive system. The GR Sport version also retains the upgraded suspension and electronic differential lock.
The hybrid version also features electric power steering and an upgraded 1500-watt power outlet at the rear. Unfortunately, there is no three-row, seven-seat version available; the hybrid version is only offered in a five-seat configuration.
The Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid is scheduled to arrive at Australian dealerships in mid-2026. The GR Sport starts at AU$156,060 (approximately RMB 767,000 at the current exchange rate); the Sahara ZX starts at AU$156,810 (approximately RMB 771,000 at the current exchange rate).
