According to information obtained by BMW enthusiasts from relevant channels, the BMW M3 Competition rear-wheel drive model (G80) has officially ceased production.
The discontinued M3 Competition rear-wheel-drive model was equipped with BMW’s most powerful S58 inline six-cylinder twin-turbocharged engine, which could output a maximum power of 510 horsepower (375 kilowatts) and a peak torque of 650 Nm, matched with an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission, and could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in as little as 3.9 seconds.

Alongside the rear-wheel-drive version, the M3 Competition, equipped with the M xDrive intelligentintelligent all-wheel-drive system, is also available. This car boasts a maximum power output of 530 horsepower (390 kW) and a maximum torque of 650 Nm, improving its 0-100 km/h acceleration time to 3.5 seconds.
BMW’s official website shows the M3 Competition is priced at 863,900 yuan and the M3 M xDrive Competition at 913,900 yuan.
