Apple will hold its WWDC26 developer conference on June 9, where iOS 27, macOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27 will be released. Apple officially confirmed this week (May 19) that tvOS will soon support text size adjustment.

Judging from the tone of the official press release, tvOS 27 will include new accessibility settings that allow users to adjust the system-wide text size, enabling visually impaired users to increase the screen text size for a more comfortable viewing experience.
Judging from the comparison images released by Apple, the changes brought about by this new setting are quite significant. Users can noticeably increase the size of the text on the interface, making the content much easier to read.

In contrast, while tvOS 26 offers a “bold text” feature to improve readability and a “hover text” feature to enlarge selected items , it lacks a truly global dynamic type setting.
