According to a report by gaming media Tech4Gamers two days ago, a new report shows that most of Sony’s PC ports of AAA titles have performed poorly, with most titles failing to even reach 500,000 copies sold in their first month.
Reports indicate that Sony is scaling back its multi-platform strategy, with its studios’ websites beginning to remove information related to PC ports. There are also rumors that PC ports of Ghost of Yotei and SAROS have been cancelled.

According to data from The Game Business and Ampere, the first-month sales figures for Sony’s first-party AAA titles on the PC platform are as follows:
-
Ghost of Tsushima: 710,000
-
God of War: Ragnarok: 300,000
-
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: 260,000
-
Horizon West: The Lost Land: 230,000
Apart from Ghost of Tsushima, none of the aforementioned games sold even 500,000 copies in their first month. This performance could very well prompt Sony to adjust its strategy and abandon its PC porting plans.
